I am Mohit Kamat.

As a Professional Player

I have achieved Men’s singles ranking No 2 in India and have beaten top 50 World Ranked players in International Tournaments. Representing India in multiple International tournaments have gained me great knowledge and immense experience of playing top level Badminton. Some of the club matches in Europe has helped me to understand the finer aspects of the sport.

Coaching

Is about identifying the highest potential of the individual and setting up a right direction to achieve it.

Two years before I retired from professional badminton I was experimenting my coaching skills along with Tom John who was Instrumental in Pullela Gopichand’s All England success. Dedication, Discipline and Hard work is what I learned from the task master.

High Performance

Finding success in the journey, Olympic Gold Quest selected me as one of the top 7 coaches in India to attain High Performance coaching skills from the best trainers of the world. OGQ is a non profit organisation developed by the sporting legends Prakash Padukone & Geet Sethi with a mission to support India athletes in winning Olympic gold medals. This excellence program enhanced my perception of training players on their innate skills and develop them on their individual potential. Worlds best trainers and coaches shared their techniques of coaching in this program which opened up many direction for building High Performance training.

Badminton is my passion. Every morning when I wake up, I set myself to be the best and bring the best to what I am willing to serve. Badminton is not just a sport it develops an individual to their maximum potential through physical & mental capacity.
